In addition to the two Åhus teams, 77 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Eslövs IK Gul, H43 Lund HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, IK Baltichov, Halmstad Handboll Blå, Hammarby IF HF Grön, Gustavsbergs IF HK 2, Uppsala HK 4 and HK Aranäs 2.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 2 with 10-13. In the Final, Haninge HK 2 won over Vinslövs HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F05 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Huddinge HK 1 with 4-5.
