In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK could be found in Group 6 together with IFK Bankeryd 2, H43 Lund HF 1, Eskilstuna Guif IF P07, Kärra HF, Åhus Handboll 2, Lödde Vikings HK 3, IFK Malmö HF, Eslövs HF 3 and Skuru IK.

Borlänge HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HF Limhamn Svart with 6-13. In the Final, IK Sund 2 won over H43 Lund HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.

Borlänge HK also participated in Pojkar 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P06 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 with 6-11.
