In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Åhus Handboll, Alingsås HK 2, Höörs HK H 65, Halmstad Handboll Röd, Tollarps IF 1 and Vinslövs HK.

IFK Kristianstad 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against KFUM Lundagård with 8-10. In the Final, Falu HK won over KFUM Lundagård and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006).
