In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 21 other teams played in Pojkar 18 år (födda 2004). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 2 could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund HF 04, Halmstad Handboll 2, IK Bolton Medborgarplatsen, Åhus Handboll lag 2, Uppsala HK UHK Blå, Borlänge HK and Alingsås HK.

IFK Kristianstad 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Uppsala HK UHK Blå with 7-8. In the Final, Uppsala HK UHK Blå won over Halmstad Handboll 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 18 år (födda 2004).
