In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 14 other teams played in Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Tumba HK Swedish Weenie Boys, Halmstad Handboll 2, H43 Lund HF, Uppsala HK, Tollarps IF 2, Vinslövs HK and Halmstad Handboll 3.

IFK Kristianstad 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 9-11. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over HK Silwing-Troja and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003).
