In addition to IFK Kristianstad, 19 other teams played in Senior Förening Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad could be found in Group 1 together with HK Hök Hk Hök, Eslövs IK, Chalmers HK 1, Åhus Handboll 1, Bjärnums HK, HK Björnen 2, Hässleholms HF, H43 Lund HF and Kristianstad HK.

IFK Kristianstad continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF with 8-11. In the Final, Ystads IF HF won over Kristianstad HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Senior Förening Damer.
