In addition to the four H43 Lund teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 1 could be found in Group 5 together with IK Bolton Sthlm 2, Kävlinge HK 2, Kristianstad HK 2, GF Kroppskultur Uddevalla, Ystads IF HF 2, Önnereds HK Gbg 1, Uppsala HK 3 and IFK Bankeryd 1.

H43 Lund 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund 4 with 7-16. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Uppsala HK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 B2.
