In addition to the two Eslövs teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Eslövs HF 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Karlskrona Handboll 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna, LUGI HF 1, Enköpings HF 2, Alingsås HK, Tyresö Handboll, Åhus Handboll 2, Ystads IF HF 1 and Täby HBK Sthlm.

Eslövs HF 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Karlskrona Handboll 3 with 15-16. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 2 won over Karlskrona Handboll 3 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A1.
