In addition to IFK Bankeryd, 59 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 A1. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd could be found in Group 3 together with IF Guif Eskilstuna 3, H43 Lund 3, Ystads IF HF 1, Enköpings HF 1, Kävlinge HK, IFK Kristianstad 5, Eslövs HF 1, IFK Tumba Sthlm 3 and Önnereds HK Gbg Lag 1.

IFK Bankeryd continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Karlskrona Handboll 1 with 7-11. In the Final, IK Sund Helsingborg won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 A1.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Pojkar 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P01 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IF Guif Eskilstuna 1 with 8-12.
