In addition to IFK Bankeryd, 77 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd could be found in Group 6 together with Åhus Handboll 3, Hammarby IF Sthlm 2, Trelleborg HBK 1, Kärra HF Göteborg, H43 Lund 4, Åhus Handboll 2, Staffanstorps HK 1, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1 and Raklev G&I, Danmark 1.

IFK Bankeryd continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against HK Ankaret Bjärred Lag 1 with 8-10. In the Final, HK Ankaret Bjärred Lag 1 won over HK Eklöven and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in P02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 7-14.
