In addition to the two IFK Bankeryd teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 1 could be found in Group 1 together with LVHK Lödde, Lugi HF 3, Trelleborg HBK 2, Borlänge HK 3, Vadstena HF, Spånga HK Stockholm 3, Eslövs IK 1 and Kristianstad HK 1.

IFK Bankeryd 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 8-9. In the Final, Kärra HF Göteborg 2 won over Staffanstorps HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Bjärnums HK with 1-8.
