In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Vetlanda HF 2, Kärra HF Göteborg 3, Borlänge HK 1, Tyresö Handboll 2, Vassunda IF Sthlm, Ystads IF HF 2, H 78 Sölvesborg, Kristianstad HK 2 and H43 Lund 2.

IK Lågan Hörby 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Borlänge HK 3 with 7-9. In the Final, Kärra HF Göteborg 2 won over Staffanstorps HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Borlänge HK 2 with 10-11.
