In addition to IK Lågan Hörby, 59 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 A1. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby could be found in Group 5 together with Rimbo HK Roslagen, Halmstad Handboll 1, Uppsala HK 3, Ystads IF HF 3, H43 Lund 1, Karlshamns HF, Ronneby HK, IK Sävehof Partille and IFK Kristianstad 3.

IK Lågan Hörby continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 10-12. In the Final, IK Sund Helsingborg won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 A1.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Pojkar 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P01 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Skogås HK Sthlm 2 with 9-10.
