In addition to the two Lågan Hörby teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Ljunghusens HK 1, Eslövs HF 2, Växjö HF 1, Karlskrona Handboll 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Halmstad Handboll 1, Tollarps IF, Ystads IF HF 1 and OV Helsingborg HK.

IK Lågan Hörby 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm with 5-12. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D2.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Pojkar 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P06 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 2 with 6-8.
