In addition to the two Karlskrona teams, 62 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Karlskrona Handboll 2 could be found in Group 5 together with Alingsås HK 3, Hammarby IF Sthlm 1, Vinslövs HK 2, Tollarps IF 1, Ljunghusens HK 2, LVHK Lödde 3, Åhus Handboll 1 and Trelleborg HBK Trelleborgs HBK.

Karlskrona Handboll 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 3-4. In the Final, Tollarps IF 1 won over Halmstad Handboll 3 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D2.

Karlskrona Handboll also participated in Flickor 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F06 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 1 with 1-7.
