In addition to the two Karlskrona teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Karlskrona Handboll 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Ystads IF HF 1, Enköpings HF 1, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Alingsås HK 1, Lugi HF 2, Huddinge HK Sthlm 2, Önnereds HK Gbg Lag 2 and IFK Kristianstad 2.
Karlskrona Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 9-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 1 won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2. Karlskrona Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
