Silver medal! Reached second place in A-Slutspel

In addition to Borlänge HK, 59 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 A1. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK could be found in Group 1 together with Bollstanäs SK Sthlm, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1, H43 Lund 6, Alingsås HK, Norrköpings HK, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Eslövs HF 2, LVHK Lödde and Åhus Handboll 4.
Borlänge HK made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Enköpings HF 1 with 8-9. Thereby Borlänge HK finished second in P01 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. Borlänge HK also participated in Pojkar 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
