In addition to the two IFK Bankeryd teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Hammarby IF HF 1, Alingsås HK 1, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 2, GW Landskrona HK 2, H43 Lund HF 2, Lödde Vikings HK 3, Åhus Handboll 1, Lidingö SK 2 and Uppsala HK 4.

IFK Bankeryd 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 2 with 7-9. In the Final, Borlänge HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 4 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Flickor 2005 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in F05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK Svart with 2-8.
