In addition to the two IFK Bankeryd teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Falu HK, Hammarby IF HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby 3, Eslövs IK 4, Kristianstad HK 2, HK Aranäs 1, Lödde Vikings HK 1 and Skå IK o Bygdegård.

IFK Bankeryd 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kristianstad HK 1 with 3-4. In the Final, Alingsås HK 4 won over Haninge HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Flickor 2005 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in F05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK Svart with 2-8.
