In addition to the three Uppsala teams, 37 other teams played in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Kristianstad 4, Eslövs HF, Alingsås HK, IFK Tumba HK Vit, Växjö HF, IFK Bankeryd vit, Åhus Handboll P07 2, Lödde Vikings HK 1 and Lugi HF Vit.

Uppsala HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ljunghusens HK with 9-10. In the Final, Lugi HF Svart won over IFK Kristianstad 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006).
