They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK UHK Blå could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund HF 04, Halmstad Handboll 2, IK Bolton Medborgarplatsen, Åhus Handboll lag 2, IFK Kristianstad 2, Borlänge HK and Alingsås HK.

Uppsala HK UHK Blå made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Halmstad Handboll 2, which they won with 9-8. Thereby Uppsala HK UHK Blå won the entire A-Slutspel in Pojkar 18 år (födda 2004) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
