In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Lugi HF 2, Eslövs IK EIK 1, HF Karlskrona Lag 1, Önnereds HK 2, Tollarps IF 2, Hammarby IF HF Grön, Bjärnums HK, IFK Kristianstad 1 and Halmstad Handboll 3 Rosa.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Haninge HK 1 with 7-12. In the Final, Falu HK won over KFUM Lundagård and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006).
