In addition to the four Åhus teams, 47 other teams played in Pojkar 15 år (födda 2007). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Alingsås HK, Kävlinge HK, Ystads IF HF 2, Eslövs HF 1, Tyresö Handboll 2, Lödde Vikings HK 2 and HK Aranäs Grön.

Åhus Handboll 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IK Sävehof, which they won with 15-13. Thereby Åhus Handboll 2 won the entire A-Slutspel in Pojkar 15 år (födda 2007) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
