In addition to the two Åhus teams, 36 other teams played in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2011). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Lödde Vikings HK Röd, IK Sävehof, Höörs HK H 65 2, HF Karlskrona Svart, Eslövs HF Grön, Lugi HF 1, Spånga HK and IFK Kristianstad 2.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Dalby GIF 2 with 9-10. In the Final, Ystads IF HF Vit won over Dalby GIF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2011).
