In addition to the four Åhus teams, 14 other teams played in Senior Förening Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Vinslövs HK, HK Björnen 1, Alingsås HK, IK Lågan Hörby Lågan, Åhus Handboll 3, Hässleholms HF /Bjärnum 1, Sälens Fjällbotaniska Vänner and Ramunder HK.

Åhus Handboll 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Hammarby IF HF, which they won with 17-10. Thereby Åhus Handboll 2 won the entire B-Slutspel in Senior Förening Damer during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023.
