In addition to the two Växjö teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Växjö HF Gul could be found in Group 5 together with Borlänge HK, Uppsala HK 4, IFK Bankeryd Blå, Haninge HK Rosa, Lugi HF 3, Eslövs IK EIK 2, Höörs HK H 65 07, Stavsten HK 1 VINRÖD and Elvebyen HK.

Växjö HF Gul continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Svart with 9-15. In the Final, Alingsås HK 2 won over Falu HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006).

Växjö HF also participated in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in F16 (f. 2006) C-Slutspel, but lost it against Stavsten HK 1 Svart with 7-8.
