In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund 1, Näsby Handboll 1, Sorunda IF Sthlm, Västerås Irsta HF, Vinslövs HK, Falu HK, Staffanstorps HK and Borås HK 84 1.

Uppsala HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Växjö HF with 11-12. In the Final, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 won over H 65 Höör 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.
