In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 57 other teams played in Flickor 2005 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 6 together with Gökstens BK Torshälla, Halmstad Handboll 4, H43 Lund 2, Kristianstad HK 2, Åhus Handboll 3, Ljunghusens HK, Alingsås HK 1, Eslövs IK 3 and LVHK Lödde 2.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK 3 with 5-6. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK 1 won over Näsby Handboll 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005 D2.
