In addition to the three Åhus teams, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Eslövs HF 1, HK Ankaret 2, Alingsås HK 1, Lödde Vikings HK 1, IFK Kristianstad Lag3, Tollarps IF, Halmstad Handboll 2 and Ystads IF HF 3.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 2 with 4-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad Lag 2 won over Önnereds HK and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in P08 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 4 with 8-13.
