In addition to the two Åhus teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 1 together with H 78 Sölvesborg 2, Falu HK, IFK Malmö HF 1, Lugi HF 3, HK Eskil, Uppsala HK 3, Halmstad Handboll 2, Alingsås HK 2 and IFK Kristianstad 6.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 3 with 9-10. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 2 won over Alingsås HK 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2003 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs HF 2 with 5-8.
