In addition to the three Åhus teams, 73 other teams played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 8 together with Tyresö Handboll, H43 Lund HF 4, IFK Tumba HK, Borlänge HK 2, Alingsås HK 3, OV Helsingborg HK F05A, Vadstena HF, Kävlinge HK and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK 1 with 4-5. In the Final, Borlänge HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 4 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2005 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F05 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd 1 with 3-4.
