In addition to the three Åhus teams, 67 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 6 together with H43 Lund HF 5, IK Sävehof, Eslövs HF 1, Norrköpings HK, Ronneby HK, Eskilstuna Guif IF -04, Lugi HF 3, Halmstad Handboll 2 and IFK Kristianstad 4.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 1 with 9-10. In the Final, HK Aranäs won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 6-12.
