In addition to IK Sävehof, 69 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof could be found in Group 6 together with H43 Lund HF 5, Eslövs HF 1, Norrköpings HK, Ronneby HK, Eskilstuna Guif IF -04, Åhus Handboll 2, Lugi HF 3, Halmstad Handboll 2 and IFK Kristianstad 4.

IK Sävehof continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 4 with 11-13. In the Final, HK Aranäs won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003.
