Halmstad Handboll D96-98 1

2:nd highest goal count per game among the teams in D96-98 (11.8)

In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 18 other teams played in Damer Junior 96-98. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Eslövs IK, Trelleborg HBK, Kristianstad HK 1, Borlänge HK, H 65 Höör 2, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IK Lågan Hörby, H43 Lund 2 and Åhus Handboll.

Halmstad Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK with 10-11. In the Final, H 65 Höör 1 won over H43 Lund 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Damer Junior 96-98.
