In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 78 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Växjö HF, IFK Kristianstad 2, Halmstad Handboll 1, Ystads IF HF 4, Tollarps IF 1, Eslövs HF Mintgrön, Spånga HK Orange, Uppsala HK 3 and Lödde Vikings HK Svart.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba HK Tumba with 8-12. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK 1 with 6-8.
