In addition to the 5 Halmstad teams, 75 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Växjö HF, IFK Kristianstad 2, Alingsås HK 2, Ystads IF HF 4, Tollarps IF 1, Eslövs HF Mintgrön, Spånga HK Orange, Uppsala HK 3 and Lödde Vikings HK Svart.

Halmstad Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HF Limhamn Svart with 9-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over Åhus Handboll 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 13-15.
