In addition to the three Åhus teams, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 5 together with Kävlinge HK 1, Alingsås HK 4, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, Vinslövs HK 2, Tyresö Handboll, IFK Ystad HK 1, H 78 Sölvesborg 2 and H43 Lund HF.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad Lag 2 with 3-9. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad Lag 2 won over Önnereds HK and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2008.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in P08 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 4 with 8-13.
