In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with FSG Mainz 05/Budenheim, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, Kristianstad HK 3, IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba HK Vit, Vinslövs HK, Eslövs IK 3, Lugi HF 2 and Trelleborg HBK 1.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 1 with 5-11. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over H 65 Höör 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Kärra HF Göteborg with 9-12.
