In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 61 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Lugi HF 2, Växjö HF, Staffanstorps HK, Uppsala HK 1, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Hammarby IF Sthlm 2, IFK Kristianstad 1 and Eslövs IK 1.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund 1 with 8-9. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D2.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They won A-Slutspel, after beating Eslövs IK 3 in the final with 11-10.
