In addition to Alingsås HK, 49 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK could be found in Group 1 together with Sollentuna HK, Borlänge HK 1, Lugi HF, IFK Kristianstad 2, Bjärnums HK, Ystads IF HF 2, GW Landskrona HK, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 and Spånga HK Stockholm 2.

Alingsås HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Gustavsbergs IF HK with 8-12. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over Gustavsbergs IF HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK 1 with 4-9.
