In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 75 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 8 together with IFK Kristianstad 2, OV Helsingborg HK, LVHK Lödde 2, H43 Lund 3, Eslövs HF 1, Vetlanda HF, Norrköpings HK 1, Tollarps IF and IFK Tumba Sthlm 1.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Guldkroken Hjo with 12-15. In the Final, Rimbo HK Roslagen won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Lugi HF 2 with 9-15.
