In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 74 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Malmö HF, Åhus Handboll 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Kävlinge HK 2, Borlänge HK 4, H 65 Höör 2, Uppsala HK 2, Vetlanda HF 1 and Staffanstorps HK 2.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 1 with 9-11. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over H 65 Höör 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B2.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the Semi final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Kärra HF Göteborg with 9-12.
