In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Ystads IF HF 1, Enköpings HF 1, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Lugi HF 2, Huddinge HK Sthlm 2, Önnereds HK Gbg Lag 2, Karlskrona Handboll 1 and IFK Kristianstad 2.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 7-8. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 1 won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P00 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 6-10.
