In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Skånela IF Märsta, Karlskrona Handboll 2, Eslövs HF 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 3, Ystads IF HF 2, Enköpings HF 4, Hultsfreds HF, Uppsala HK 1 and H43 Lund 2.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd with 9-10. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over Trelleborg HBK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P00 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 6-10.
