In addition to the 5 IFK Kristianstad teams, 65 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 5 could be found in Group 3 together with Halmstad Handboll 6, Ystads IF HF 3, IF Guif Eskilstuna, H43 Lund 1, IK Bolton Sthlm 1, Karlskrona Handboll 2, Eslövs HF 1, Alingsås HK 3 and IFK Bankeryd.
IFK Kristianstad 5 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Tollarps IF with 7-10. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 4 won over IFK Kristianstad 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C2. IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
