In addition to the 6 IFK Kristianstad teams, 72 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 6 could be found in Group 1 together with Raklev G&I, Danmark 2, HK Ankaret Bjärred Lag 2, Halmstad Handboll, IFK Tumba Sthlm 2, Önnereds HK Gbg 2, Ystads IF HF 2, Lugi HF, Staffanstorps HK 2 and Uppsala HK 2.

IFK Kristianstad 6 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm with 11-19. In the Final, LVHK Lödde 1 won over HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.

IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund 1 with 6-9.
