In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 88 other teams played in Flickor 2003 B1. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 2 could be found in Group 8 together with IK Bolton Sthlm, Trelleborg HBK, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Borlänge HK 2, H 65 Höör 1, AIK Handbollsförening 3, Torslanda HK Göteborg 3, Staffanstorps HK 1 and Spånga HK Stockholm 3.

IFK Kristianstad 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Falköpings AIK HK 2 with 4-5. In the Final, Älta IF Stockholm 2 won over Åhus Handboll 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2003 B1.
