Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel

In addition to the three Åhus teams, 87 other teams played in Flickor 2003 B1. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Halmstad Handboll 1, Kristianstad HK 4, Eslövs IK 1, LVHK Lödde 1, Spånga HK Stockholm 1, Lugi HF 3, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1, Kärra HF Göteborg 2 and AIK Handbollsförening 2.

Åhus Handboll 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Älta IF Stockholm 2 with 7-9. Thereby Åhus Handboll 2 finished second in F03 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2003 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund with 9-11.
