In addition to the 6 Åhus teams, 44 other teams played in Pojkar 2007 D1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 5 could be found in Group 4 together with HK Hök Laholm, Alingsås HK 1, Växjö HF 2, Ystads IF HF 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, Eslövs HF 3, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2, Bjärnums HK and LVHK Lödde 2.

Åhus Handboll 5 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eslövs HF 3 with 6-11. In the Final, Eslövs HF 3 won over IF Guif Eskilstuna 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2007 D1.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2007 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P07 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 1-11.
