Åhus Handboll F00 1

In addition to the three Åhus teams, 44 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 1 together with GW Landskrona HK, Halmstad Handboll 1, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK, Falu HK, H 65 Höör 1, KFUM Lundagård, Skara HF 2 and Rimbo HK Roslagen.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 2 with 9-10. In the Final, Åhus Handboll 2 won over IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A2.
